Privacy Policy

Effective July 6, 2026

Jevu ("Jevu", "we", "us") is an AI meeting-notetaker product. This policy explains what data we collect when you use Jevu, why, and what rights you have over it.

1. Scope

This policy covers the Jevu web application, the meeting bot that joins your calls, and any recordings, transcripts or summaries Jevu produces on your behalf. It applies to Jevu account holders and, where relevant, to other participants in a recorded meeting.

2. Information we collect

2.1 Account information

2.2 Meeting content

2.3 Google user data

If you connect Google Calendar or sign in with Google, we access your calendar events (to detect upcoming meetings and their video-call links) and your basic profile. We never read your email, and we never edit, delete or create calendar events. Jevu's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Calendar data is used solely to power the auto-join feature and is not used for advertising.

2.4 Usage & technical data

Login timestamps, IP address, browser type, and a session cookie used solely to keep you signed in (no third-party advertising cookies or trackers).

3. How we use your data

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to serve you ads.

4. AI processing & sub-processors

Producing a transcript and summary requires sending meeting audio and text to AI providers under contract with us. We currently use:

ProviderPurposeWhat's sent
OpenAITranscription, speaker diarization, AI summaries, semantic searchAudio, transcript text
AnthropicAI summaries (alternate provider)Transcript text
Recall.aiManaged meeting-bot infrastructure (joining calls, recording)Meeting URL, audio
Snov.ioCRM push (deals, tasks, timeline notes), when you connect itSummary, prospect email
GoogleCalendar auto-join, "Sign in with Google"Calendar events, basic profile

These providers process data only to deliver the feature in question and are bound by their own data-processing terms with us. Meeting audio and transcripts are not used by these providers to train their general-purpose models under our current agreements with them.

5. Recording other people

When you send the Jevu bot to a meeting or upload a recording, you are responsible for complying with the recording and wiretapping laws that apply to your meeting, including notifying other participants that the call is being recorded and obtaining any consent required in your jurisdiction. The Jevu bot identifies itself by name when it joins a call. If you enable the recap-email feature, meeting participants who are not Jevu users may receive an email containing the meeting summary.

6. Sharing your data

We share data only with the sub-processors listed in Section 4, our infrastructure/hosting provider, and — if you explicitly connect it — your own Snov.io CRM account. We do not sell or rent personal data to third parties.

7. International data transfers

Because our AI and infrastructure providers operate globally (primarily in the United States), your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States. Where required, we rely on standard contractual clauses or equivalent safeguards with these providers.

8. Data retention

We retain your account data, recordings, transcripts and summaries for as long as your account is active, so that your meeting history remains available to you. If you'd like some or all of your data deleted sooner — including a specific recording, or your whole account — contact us at the address below and we'll process the request. We may retain limited data where required by law or to resolve disputes.

9. Data security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including access controls and encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for data in transit. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you're located, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email us — see Contact below. If you're in the EU/EEA, you can also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

11. Children's privacy

Jevu is a business tool and is not directed at, or knowingly used to collect data from, children under 16.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above.
